Svadhyayat Ishta Devata Sampra Yogah Self Study bring you into union with the Divine. Patanjali’s Yoga Sutras, II.44
Yoga can be spiritual, playful, creative and exercise...All in
One. Yoga is an opportunity to become part of a community, to make
friends, to feel and heal the body, to know oneself more deeply and to play with
Grace herself. We learn to do this within the necessary boundaries in order to embrace balance, joy and freedom in life and body.
Yoga - "union", "merging with".
Hamsa - "Swan"- represents perfect union, balance and life. Hamsa, when
repeated, becomes the word "sohum", which means "that I am", thus union
with the supreme Spirit. The swan also represents discernment and
transformation. Discernment - being able to say "YES" to life and also
knowing when to say "NO", being open yet with clear and necessary
boundaries leading to transformation in body, mind and spirit.
You were born with potential
You were born with goodness and trust
You were born with ideals and dreams
You were born with greatness
You were born with wings
You are not meant for crawling, so don't.
You have wings
Learn to use them, and fly.
